  • We went to Vegas for the weekend and had a lot of fun. Dave's friends' parents have a nice house in a rich neighborhood, so we had this bbq Halloween shin dig thing and then went trick or treating. The dad had hooked a trailer to his 4 wheeler for all the kids and parents to ride in so we wouldn't get tired. It was all decked out with lights and stuff. And I gotta say, that is the way to do it. haha I guess I never went trick or treating in the rich neighborhoods growing up and man was I missing out. We only did a hand full of houses because Will was tired and getting grouchy, but he got a ton on candy (mostly chocolate) woot! They were giving handfuls and full size candy and chips! It was great and everyone commented on how cute Will looked in his dinosaur costume. I just wish he wasn't trying to take the hood off every second his hands were free. Luckily the costume had paws or whatever you call dino hands so he couldn't pull it off. I'll put pics soon even though I've already posted a few a while ago when I tried it on him for fun. Dave built a nice insulated dog house so the dogs can stay outside even in the cold. I was pretty impressed. He is always looking out the window to see if they are in there -which they are because they love it- but it's still funny/cute to see him be proud of his work.

I'm the same way when I paint a new room or fix something up... I have to look at it like a million times.  :)  That's cool that the dogs can stay warm outside... I didn't think that was possible.
