For as long as I have worked retail, I always felt a little unnoticed I guess. I would always go out of my way to help customers and co-workers and though I have been appreciated I always was a little bitter I guess that I never got employee of the month or anything. Sounds silly, but I just always thought it would be nice to be recognized publicly instead of just privately for my work. I am pretty sure at compusa it was always the top selling computer sales guy who got that award so maybe that's why I never got it. That, and they didn't keep up with it every month. It was more like employee for 3-6 months award. ha. So anyway, when I walk in to work yesterday and see a big blue paper that says team member of the month on my locker, what do I do? I rip it off real fast and think "how embarrassing" haha
I have so much to do in the coming weeks. This baby is coming too quickly. What a change from my first pregnancy, where I just couldn't wait.
